The Concensus Banner Driver for Concensus Connect and NetIQ Identity Manager makes it possible to synchronize student information from your Banner system into your Identity Management framework.
This driver will allows you to
- Synchronize information directly from the Banner Enterprise Identity Server (BEIS) interface in real time without the need to modify database tables or use batch files within your banner system
- Manage your student and staff user account life-cycle
- Add students as soon as they are registered
- Modify student information as soon as it is modified in the student record
- Automatically place user objects in the right containers and maintain group memberships
- Maintain Roles
- Automatically enable and disable objects
- Rename accounts if necessary
- Maintain authoritative data
